Sometimes your rugs need a little sunshine too
We worked on a cotton and jute rug for a customer in Guilford today. The rug had some water rings on it from a prior spotting attempt.
We cleaned the rug with a solution containing hydrogen peroxide to oxidize the areas that had browned, then put it out in the sun. The ultraviolet light from the sun reacts with the hydrogen peroxide and intensifies the oxidation process which can dramatically improve the appearance of the rug.
