We recently cleaned and restored this family heirloom braided rug for a customer in Branford.

The rug was made by hand by the customer’s grandmother and had been handed down over several generations. It was frayed and separating in multiple areas and really needed a good washing.

We re-braided certain areas, and stitched up some others. Then we washed it by hand with soft brushes on our wash floor. What a difference.
